Can I use these 3-step pads on hard concrete?

How do 3-step pads compare to traditional 7-step sets?
Fewer pad changes per slab. For most commercial granite and engineered stone, finish quality is comparable. For luxury dark marbles, a 7-step sequence may still be preferred.
